A Ten Year - Thursday Thirteen

this is my first thursday 13 -

and in honor of my first i felt it should be something BIG!!!

so why not discuss the last 10+ years - yes - i know - i'm pretty ambitious - but daddy and i are celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary this may - we dated for 4 years before we got married - so that's 14 fantabulous years -

and here they are in review....

1994 - girl graduates from college

meets boy less than a month later - knows he's the ONE

1996 - boy gets his A-S-S out of school

1997 - boy proposes

however
something is missing - we yearn for the pitter patter of little feet
so we...

get some babies
g-girl and the pod

however

as it turns out - surprisingly enough -
that's just not quite right
so we.....

1999 - get pregnant
g.money

2000 - we have a sweet, love filled, God filled family
that seems to be out growing our "starter" home
so we...

2002 - buy a house

but with all that room - we felt that we should fill it up
so we.....

2002 - had another baby

but we still had some room
so we....

had ANOTHER baby!!!!
GOLIATH the dog

now...

our family is complete!!!

the Lord has blessed us abundantly!
he sent me the man that was meant for me,
the man who would love me "no matter what"
he sent me 2 healthy , funny, smart, beautiful boys
he has blessed me with the love and loyalty of some precious 4 legged babies
he has given us a beautiful home to live in that is in
a community that loves the Lord

it has been a great 10+ years
and i am truly blessed

If you have the means...

for the third weekend in four - all three of my boys have gone overnight to the ranch - in the words of the ever wise ferris bueller - "if you have the means - i highly suggest you pick one up"

Daddy/Daughter Date

a friend of mine takes their daughter out every valentine's on a daddy/daughter date - obviously - we couldn't be out done!!! - so our daddy took our baby girl on a date to the ranch

they also stopped for a quick bite
