THE GREAT STATE FAIR OF TEXAS!!!!!

the state fair opened this weekend!!!!!

WE LOVE THE STATE FAIR!!!!

we did all things "fair"

we ate corndogs......

we milked a cow...

(so it was a plastic cow - but milk came out into the bucket!!)and we rode rides!!!

(i told the boys that we would ride until someone threw up

but apparently we didn't feed them enough junk - darn!)

and only tried to kill our brother once - so over all it was a great time

september 19 was speak like a pirate day

all ye landlubbers were given the chance to

live like the scurvy dogs ye are!!!!

full regalia, set sail and plundered their way across the spanish main

in order to get all of our "stuff" (read CRAP) to the camp site, daddy had to do some

hoopdy doo creative trailering - as he likes to say

"that's one long piece of rope" but because our daddy is a good and wise daddy (read redneck)

we were able to have loads of fun with all of our "bikes"

(read death machines)

because of ike the terrible

(not ike as in dwight d. but the hurricane)

we managed to get a day of rain- but we celebrated it in true

crim style!!

on sunday we woke up to a beautiful day!!!
it was perfect kite flying weather so we all hiked

(read trudged while whining endlessly)
to a clearing where we came upon a mama deer and her three babies
look - you can still see their spots

here are my master kite fliers now....

as always - the crim family camping adventure was a success
next on our agenda is daingerfield and meridian for the changing of the leaves

Prayer

j.man is having trouble adjusting to kindergarten - please pray the he learns proper class room behavior (sooner rather then later) - pray that ms. m continues to work with him and doesn't get frustrated with him - pray that i can guide him through this adjustment in a love filled Godly way - please pray that none of us get so overwhelmed that we cause harm - thank you friends for your prayers
