first day back!!!

last run of the summer

so here it is -

summer is coming to an end

so what better way to celebrate

than

camping!!!!!

 

 

we rolled in late and set up quickly...

 

in the morning we woke up to overcast skies - but our site was perfect!

come breakfast time - the sun was out and the boys were starving

 



 

 here i am with my official camping shirt!

 

the beach was a rock shoreline

with all these flowers growing out from amongst the rocks

very pretty

 

j.man's favorite part was listening.....

 

we took a bike ride to the park

 

then went back to the camp site for...

 

card playing...

 

bow and arrow making....

 

and fort building in the lake....

 

of course daddy got in some of his favorite stuff too....

toes in the sand with a cold beer in hand...

 

and cooking....

 

there was fun stuff for mama too!!!!!!

 

we had a great saturday that ended with this....

sunday morning looked like this outside our camper!

 

when it finally slowed up enough to load up and head out

we saw this little guy....

 

as a special treat - daddy took us here for an end of summer lunch!!!!

museum of nature and science

last thursday - the boys and i went to...

 to check out the....

super cool flat touch screens...

j.man, swimmin with the fishes...

we also happened to catch the...

then we mossied over to the natural history building...

then hung out on the fair park grounds...



a fun way to spend the afternoon!!

the boys and i went early to avoid the heat

didn't work

but

the arboretum and exhibit were beautiful...

afterwards

we met up with daddy in deep elum to eat at...

super fun and yummie

we had a fun day!!!!

we're trying our best to fit it all in before

summer comes to a close!!!
