farewell 5th grade

"start spreading the news,

we're leaving today

we love you all so very much; oh 5th grade

these golden shoes are going away

we're sad we're leaving all of you

but we can't stay

we get up at 7:30 instead of 7:00; to find we're in a new school;

it's just like heaven!

our teachers were swell - we behaved so well

we've learned so from all of you,

but we're not blue

we're gonna make it there;

we'll make it anywhere

so long to you 5th grade,

preparing for a tornado @ the crim house

now there's no room for mama and daddy

this weekend we headed out to oklahoma

our first stop along the way...

paris, texas

so we finally made it and set camp around 11pm

we when we woke up we were greeted with

the most beautiful view

so we had our coffee and breakfast peering out at God's glory

- then it was time to go and do some exploring -

but what is that i hear???

it's the ice cream lady!!!!!!

i scream you scream we all scream for ice cream!!!

once fully snack-ized - yes i am sure that is a word -

we headed to the forest heritage center and museum

- it being mother's day weekend and all -

 mama took a big fat long nap while the boys hiked some trails and played on the playground

- yeah sorry -

no pics - i was too busy snoring!!!

- but -

when i woke up it was time to go swimming!!

do you think j.man has been waiting ALL DAY to go swimming?

we ate great food - built some great fires and were blessed with God's beauty

it was a excellent site and we hope to go back this summer

but sunday came and it was time to head out

- when we saw this -

we knew we were home

happy 13th anniversary!!!

new and junk

so daddy took my computer to BB - you know - the electronics super store that's blue and yellow - the guys at BB took one look at my tower and said "hahahahahahahahah" and then when they picked their selves off the floor they recommended a whole new computer - so - now i have a new computer - which is GREAT - however - i am still trying to figure out how to work all this new technology - it's been 6-7 yrs since i had new stuff and ALOT has changed - bare with me while i get myself together

in the mean time....

g$ made AWESOME scores on both math and reading TAKs - commended in reading and points away from commended in math - we are so proud of him and i thank all of you who have prayed for the boys through out the years :-)
