after christmas bonus-es-es (?)

after christmas the boys stayed at n/p's house

they hung out with n/p and did fun stuff like...

 

make a tin man....

 

and take an excursion to houston

where they.....

 

went to wabash feed...

 

and met nana's new baby!!!!

 

then after a visit with their little granny

they met up with their....

 

UNCLE JEFFREY!!!!!!!

 

who took them to eat japanese food

aka - sushi!

 

g.money was adventurous

 

j.man stuck with dumplings!

 

after lunch they made a quick spin through the.....

 

to visit extra special proprietor - our cousin cdawg

 

and of course they had to try everything on....

 

then on the way out of town they dropped in on our mema

we love her sweet 103 year old self!

 

all said and done it was a whirlwind walk down memory makin lane

 

in the mean time

their daddy and i....

 

ate out

 

 

 

 

and hung with friends

 

 

fun time had by all!!!!!

"the word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. we have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only, who came from the father, full of grace and truth."

so - off to n/p's house we go -

however

there is a slight hitch in our get up

the previous night a storm blew down a section of our fence - and who's going to work during the holidays? yeah - that would be no one

- so -

the puppies came for christmas and n/p's!!!!

 

 

 they thought we should have left those boys at home!

but we made it
and n/p's house was all decorated and filled with christmas joy!

 

as is our tradition

we had a birthday party for Jesus on christmas eve

we began with a scrumptious steak dinner...

 

then papa read about Jesus' birth from the bible....

 

then we all donned party hats....

 

iced our cup cakes.....

 

and sang happy birthday to Jesus

then it was off to bed so santa could come.....

 

i'm as surprised as you are that the boys did not get a sack of coal!

here they are -
in the wee hours of the morning
ready to see what santa brought their naughty selves!

sweet!! an airsoft gun so i can shoot my brother - the squirrels

 

i can't believe it!!!! i got my pocket watch!!!!!

then it was time for christmas breakfast....

and checking out our new christmas stuff....

 

oh yeah - and playing with our uncle boo....

after lots of playing and lots of napping it was time for christmas dinner
molasses and pineapple baked ham.....

 

then it was all over and it was time to go home....

the boys stayed with n/p so the puppies had more room on the way home

they were glad we left those stinky boys!

 

we arrived home to see our house like this!!!!

 

it was a joyful, memory making time

i am blessed to have this time with all my family

now for the story of little red locks

once upon a time

because that is how all good stories begin

a very tired, over worked and terribly busy mama bear came home from working a full day with preschool cubs to find that....

 

someone had been eating her cereal!

 

 

well - humph - said the mama bear and she started her way through the kitchen to find that...

 

someone had been sitting on her bar stool!

 

well - harumph - said mama bear and she headed out of the kitchen into the living room to find that...

 

someone had wondered through the house and into her bedroom!

 

well - bah humbug and growl - said mama bear as she left the living room and went into her bedroom to find....

 

little red locks in her bed playing with daddy bear's i*pad!!!!

 

 

so mama bear snatched little red locks up by his little red locks and smooched and smooched him

then she said

go pick up all your crap!

 

and the all lived happily ever after

because that is how all good stories end
